Autumn Sale: 40% Off 152 Pieces Until 19 November

Until 19 November 2026 you get 40% off 152 pieces in my Etsy shop. The discount is already deducted from the price, so you don’t need a code. Among them are some of the largest pieces in the shop, but also many small gifts for the Advent season. Each piece exists only once: first come, first served.

The biggest savings

You save the most on the large pieces. All seven typewriters are included, from the Olympia Splendid to the AEG Mignon from the 1920s.

From attic find to Etsy listing: how a vintage piece reaches the shop

Between the moment I first hold a piece in my hands and the parcel on its way to a new home, there are many steps. It is never just “take a photo, upload, done”. Here I’ll show you how a find makes its way into the Bavarian Heritage shop, with examples from my latest deliveries.

Finding: markets, estates, collectors

My pieces come from markets, from estates and house clearances, and from exchanges with collectors. At the moment I am selling a collection from a house clearance on commission: 151 objects, mainly rustic pottery, faience and porcelain. Where you can look yourself is explained in my post How can I find vintage items?

My first year on Etsy: More than 150 sales, lots of lessons learned, and honest insights

2025 was the first full year of Bavarian Heritage on Etsy. By the end of it there were 135 orders with 148 pieces, shipped to 18 countries. Early in 2026 the 150th sale followed. Time for an honest look back: what worked, what didn’t, and what I’m taking into year two.

The numbers behind the first year

What I sold was a real mix: beer steins and music boxes, Delft plates, old picture postcards, typewriters, prayer books and travel alarm clocks. A good half of the orders stayed in Germany. The rest surprised me: almost one order in four went to the USA, plus parcels to France, Austria, the Netherlands and Italy. Bavarian keepsakes clearly have an audience far beyond Bavaria.
